To my neighbors in Levy County,

I am running for County Commissioner District 4 because I believe that leadership is, above all else, a form of service. My journey to this moment began long before I moved to Levy County 30 years ago. It began in the back of an ambulance as a paramedic in Upstate New York, working long shifts to put myself through nursing school. It continued at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children in Philadelphia, where I learned that every decision has a human impact.

For over 40 years, I have lived and breathed the responsibility of caring for others. As a Veteran of the Army Nurse Corps, I served our country with honor. As a Transplant Nurse Manager and Director of Nursing, I managed complex teams and life-saving budgets. And as an Inspector with the Florida Agency for Healthcare Administration (AHCA), I held institutions accountable to the highest standards of safety and law.

I am a resident of Florida for over 40 years and a proud member of the Levy County community for over 30. I understand our land and our economy not just as a neighbor, but as a former Real Estate Broker and a Manager at Disney. I know how to balance the needs of growth with the preservation of the rural character we all love.

My Commitment to Levy County:

• Accountability First: My experience as a state inspector means I know how to cut through red tape and ensure tax dollars are used efficiently and legally.

• Public Safety & Health: From my days as a paramedic to my career in nursing, I understand the vital importance of our first responders and local healthcare infrastructure.

• Experienced Advocacy: I have spent my life advocating for patients and soldiers. Now, I want to advocate for the families, farmers, and small business owners of Levy County.

I have spent my life showing up when it matters most. Whether in a hospital, on a military base, or in our state’s regulatory offices, I have always fought for integrity and excellence. I ask for your vote so I can bring that lifetime of experience to work for you.
